Sandra F. Moss

Council Member

A Buckingham native, I moved to Dillwyn just as soon as I could. I feel very fortunate to live here and to be able to serve the people of the Town & the County, whenever I can. In addition to serving on the Dillwyn Town Council, I am a member of the Dillwyn Fire Department Auxiliary, the Buckingham Chamber of Commerce and Dillwyn First Baptist Church. I also serve on the Board of Fuqua School and the State and Local Automobile Associations. Life is good and I’m very grateful!

Faye Shumaker

Council Member

I am a lifelong resident of Buckingham and have lived twice in Dillwyn with a total of about 10 years. I am old enough to remember Dillwyn as a bustling little town in the 60’s and 70’s. I don’t know if we could ever be quite that thriving again but believe the right businesses could certainly help us out. I feel a spa which offered massage therapy and manicures and pedicures would thrive and I also think a small shop which served breakfast and lunch could succeed. With support from Dillwyn residents and the Board of Supervisors, I think we can start moving forward. Powhatan and Scottsville have done extremely well.
